Joining the farm sanctuary volunteer program at Naughty Donkey Farm Sanctuary is more than lending a hand; it’s about being part of a compassionate community dedicated to giving animals the lives they deserve.
You’ll gain hands-on experience with a variety of species, connect with like-minded animal lovers, and play an active role in promoting humane, ethical treatment for all animals. Every task supports ethical animal rescue and welfare and directly improves the well-being of over 100 rescued residents.

Volunteer opportunities
Help us keep the sanctuary running!
Volunteer roles include:
- Animal feeding and daily care
- Cleaning stalls, coops, and enclosures
- Farm maintenance and repairs
- Enrichment and animal socialization
- Gardening and property upkeep
- Event volunteer support
- Photography and social media
- Fundraising and outreach
- Virtual auction committee (soliciting donations, outreach, promotion)
- Administrative support
Volunteer Schedule and Requirements
- Volunteer workdays: Saturdays at 9 a.m.
- Must be 16+
- No experience needed
- Wear close-toe shoes and farm-appropriate clothing

No! We’ll show you everything you need to know.
Clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, sturdy close-toe shoes or boots. Layers depending on the weather.
Yes! One-time volunteers are always welcome, though we love building long term relationships.
